What to Expect at a Meeting:

Corvallis lunch meetings are a casual gathering of professionals. Come ready to interact with your fellow project managers, enjoy a lunch of pizza, salad, fruit, and cookies while we hear from a speaker on the day’s topic. Consider presenting or leading a discussion on a topic you are interested in! Send an email to the VP of Programs at vpprograms.corvallis@pmiwv.org.

PDU Opportunities:

The Corvallis branch of the Willamette PMI Chapter offers multiple avenues to earn PDUs and network with other PMs, BAs and professionals.   Corvallis offers monthly lunch meetings from September through May.  During these meetings we offer a variety of topics covering the PMI Talent Triangle (Technical Project Mgmt, Strategic and Business Mgmt, and Leadership) as well as Business Analyst topics.  In addition to this CAPM and PMP certification preparatory classes are co-sponsored by the Salem and Corvallis branches.  Yearly in the fall the chapter hosts a one day Professional Development Conference.  Please see our website for upcoming activities and networking events.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Meet awesome people, help create direction, network with other Project Management professionals and support your profession?   PMIWV Corvallis Branch is always looking for volunteers at all levels.  This could be in a leadership role helping set direction, providing support to PDU opportunities, or leading small projects.   This also could be a onetime effort for larger projects that the branch or chapter are taking on.

Please contact the Corvallis President if you have any interest in volunteering: President.Corvallis@pmiwv.org
