Join us this Saturday, August 17, for the
Annual Chapter Picnic

Bring your lawn chairs and favorite lawn games and participate in the chapter picnic for family fun, games and fellowship, along with an opportunity to recognize those who have volunteered in chapter endeavors over the past year.

Date – Saturday August 17th, 2019
Time – Noon to three or until done (Setup at 11)
Location – Jason Brown farm, 10725 Briedwell, Dallas, Oregon 97338

Meat hot dogs, brats, burgers (beef & veggie), water, soft drinks, etc. will be provided by chapter.  Grill master Ralph Pero will keep the coals burning.

Event fee is $10 per family or a side dish.

Please register for the event at so we can get a head count. When registering, select the type of meat your family prefers so we can be sure to have enough to serve you.

Exam Prep Course. Starts September 6!

The Project Management Institute’s Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) & Project Management Professional (PMP) certification exams will change on 16 December 2019. As PMI announced in April 2019, the PMP exam content outline changes on 16 Dec 2019! The changes are part of PMI’s 50 year anniversary strategy to provide resources for both career advancement and improving the entrance into the discipline of Project Management.

Now is the time to complete your certification exam preparations by registering for the PMI Willamette Valley Chapter Exam preparatory sessions.

To help you complete your certification before the exam changes, the Eugene Branch of the PMI Willamette Valley chapter has a CAPM/PMP certification exam preparatory course scheduled for Fridays in September and October! Find out more and register at 

Annual Chapter Leadership Elections

The PMI Willamette Valley Chapter 2020 – 2021 Leadership term elections open Monday, 16 September 2019 and close Wednesday, 16 October 2019. This notice of elections is required by our Chapter Bylaws.

Our annual election for Chapter Leadership positions occurs in advance of our annual Strategic Planning Summit. This provides newly elected Leaders to participate in the Project and Program planning for the next budget year.
