The PMI Willamette Valley Chapter is the Community for Project Management
Annual Chapter Leadership Election Update
The PMI Willamette Valley Chapter welcomes and invites your participation and contribution to the ongoing activities of the chapter as one of our many volunteers. Together, we provide education, professional development, and networking opportunities to our members in the Willamette Valley. These activities include our professional certification prep courses, our annual professional development conference, mentoring and networking events, and our monthly programs at each of our branches (Eugene, Corvallis, and Salem). Our volunteers earn PDUs for Giving Back to the Profession.
To plan and coordinate Chapter activities, a group of volunteers at the Chapter and Branch levels perform the needed program, technical, and administrative roles. Some of these volunteer positions also serve as Chapter Board Members and must be formally elected by the chapter membership for two year terms.
We have five leadership positions up for election for the 2020–2021 term. Here are the positions and a brief description of what they do.
Revised Dates: The 2020–2021 Leadership Term elections will now open Thursday, 10 October 2019 and close Thursday, 17 October 2019. Nominations are now open until September 25.
This is your opportunity to give back to your profession, while having fun doing it. Please consider volunteering your time in one of these positions. Full position descriptions and nomination forms are available on the chapter website.
At our recent Chapter Picnic, we recognized the efforts of our recent chapter volunteers. Thanks so much for your many gifts of time and talent to the project management profession, PMI, and the Willamette Valley Chapter.
