Prepare for your PMP or CAPM certification through this Hybrid Bootcamp sponsored by the Willamette Valley PMI Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI). Experienced project managers ready to become certified Project Management Professionals (PMP) and those looking to establish credibility in the application of project management processes as a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) will benefit from this course. January 2014 (Jan. 9-11 and Jan. 16-18) (Thur. 7 hrs. - Fri 7hrs - Sat 4hrs.)
About this Course:
Unlike other boot camps and chapter sponsored exam preparation courses, this hybrid version has a few unique attributes and advantages that separate it from the exhaustive 5-day intensive sessions and volunteer instructor lead sessions over numerous weeks. Delivering this course over two consecutive weeks allows for a fast ramp-up of the PMBOK and training materials, a knowledge absorption period and a second accelerated learning session, all focused on passing the exam.
This course will be facilitated by Jeff Busch, a veteran PMP professional that has both developed and delivered PMP prep courses for PMI chapters and private organizations. Jeff, will bring the Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) methodology, PMI's theory-pills and real-world experiences into focus. Learning the skills and strategies that are essential to passing the PMP and CAPM exam is a well-established fact that participating in focused exam preparation greatly enhances one's knowledge and capability to prepare for and pass the PMI examination.
Attendance in the course will satisfy the 35 minimum hours of the education requirement for both the PMP and CAPM application. Participants will need a copy of the PMI PMBOK (5th edition) and the Crosswind PMP course study guide. See the options on material pricing below. Don't miss out on the Early-bird Rate which ends December 16th. Discounted rates apply for the Willamette Valley & Portland Chapter members. Not a member? Go to PMI.org and join today - be sure to select either the WV or Portland Chapter to be eligible for the discounts.
