The stereotypical introvert can be seen as phlegmatic or fearful--in either case, terribly out of touch in today's extrovert business world. But while introverts may seem difficult to integrate into a typical interactive project team, their skills and perspectives may be just what that team needs for optimal performance. Let's discuss your experiences with introverted team members *and* recent research on what they bring to the (project) table.
About the presenter:
With over 25 years of business experience prior to becoming a teacher, Kathy Christensen has a wealth of experience in management and project/program management. She holds a PMP, an MBA and is currently the lead instructor/advisor for Clackamas Community College's Project Management AAS and certificate programs. With over 10 years teaching and training experience, her specialties are soft-skill topics such as teamwork, leadership, communications, and conflict management.
