Come join us for our monthly Social Night, to interact with your fellow PMI Willamette Valley members and enjoy the great atmosphere at Bar 101. This will be a casual event so we can talk shop and even get advice from other project managers that have unique experience in their career. Show up whenever you can, and stay as late as you like - the happy hour is from 4:30 to 6:30pm.
In this presentation, David will introduce Inclusive Leadership using the incredible story of polar explorer Ernest Shackleton.
From Endurance: Shackleton's Incredible Voyage:
In August 1914, polar explorer Ernest Shackleton boarded the Endurance and set sail for Antarctica, where he planned to cross the last uncharted continent on foot. In January 1915, after battling its way through a thousand miles of pack ice and only a day's sail short of its destination, the Endurance became locked in an island of ice. Thus began the legendary ordeal of Shackleton and his crew of twenty-seven men. (Amazon.com)
