Control your Backlog, Control your Sanity
There are thousands of good ideas, and only the bandwidth to address an extremely small fraction of them. Requests for new features and improvements constantly come in at a rate that far exceeds team throughput.
Find out how one small change, putting a hard cap on our backlog size, and the resulting process improvements it sparked, changed a team of "obstructionist do-nothings" into the super stars of the organization. I will layout the history of the problem, the failed attempts to turn to the team around, and the magical moment of clarity that turned everything around, and how this simple change was applied to other teams with similar results.
Get control of your backlog, before it get's control of you!
Register normally, or bring 3 food items instead of the normal registration fee. Just choose "Pay at the door" and bring in 3 food items which will be donated to a local food bank at the end of the meeting.
